The Darjeeling Limited

I was slightly apprehensive about The Darjeeling Limited after reading a few strange reviews but I liked it a lot. I smiled and laughed through most of it. The humor is sometimes so silly. I enjoyed the Art Direction and I could appreciate the details and nuances they picked up locally like the simple cardboard bound notebooks and cough syrup with dropper and so many such details. And yes, visually it is quite the treat. I was so pumped up and bursting with ideas after the movie but then I went to sleep and woke up the next day with nothing!



The Art Direction and Set Decoration is by Aradhana Seth, who happens to be the sister of Vikram Seth, an all-time favorite author of mine.
