Ashish is one of the designers showing at the London Fashion Week. I am all sorts of excited by the colors and shimmers of his Autumn/Winter 2007 collection. I caught somewhere that M.I.A. wore some of his designs too. I am curious to see which ones. The website splash animation resonates so nicely with the collection.

I love this drawing and others by Masha Krasnova-Shabaeva who I found through my ever favorite Irina.
I am deeply in love with the layers of colors and textures in the fabrics and designs of Niki Mahajan. She works with local textiles, embroideries and patterns from Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam and other remote corners of India and creates beautiful contemporary silhouttes from this wealth of inspiration. I saw a few pieces at Malgosia.

Simmer in some great color inspiration in the September British Vogue. The weather today is transporting me back home to those lazy summer afternoons in Delhi. This struck the perfect chord.

For the first few seconds, I thought the images I was looking at were of skies. The photographs by Jean Claude Wouters are of a transient and ephemeral beauty. I am mesmerized by the portraits, landscapes and nudes.
Ryu Itadani creates gorgeous illustrations in vibrant colors and beautiful lines. I also love his drawings of everyday things.
The Sustainable Everyday Project (SEP) discusses creative proposals and innovations for a sustainable everyday life. The project works on a global level and offers a platform for workshops and events. The scenarios and cases inspire some very original ideas for everyday sustainability from around the world.
Lovely as a Tree is a nicely designed website that lists and discusses issues of sustainability as they pertain to Graphic Designers. It aims at helping us designers make environmentally friendly decisions by listing choices related to the greening of paper, printing, specs, supplies and more.
I have liked Kondoh Akino's work for some time. The dark, feminine visions are enchanting.
Very fun, flat shoes at Hot Chocolate Design. I don't think I can carry these off though! The website is cute too.
El Naturalista shoes are some of the loveliest, comfortable shoes I have ever loved. Every shoe has a great story behind it too. 
I like these Delicious Design League posters at Urban Outfitters. More work here at Delicious Design League. 
Beijing artist Song Kun created a painting a day for a year. Some of the paintings are on display at the Hammer Museum. I was very touched by her paintings of seemingly everyday scenarios and the various underlying emotions.
